31.00 Hourly Fleet Operations Specialist (Night Shift) Have you
always been fascinated with technology and would love to be part of
a remarkable team making a difference in the country's security?
Knightscope is the place to be! Founded in April 2013, Knightscope
is a leader in developing autonomous physical security solutions.
The Knightscope "Hardware + Software + Humans" approach reduces
costs for our clients, provides a 24/7 force multiplier effect as
well as advanced anomaly detection capabilities. Our solution
includes providing an autonomous physical presence, gathering data
from the environment in real-time, and pushing anomalies to our
user interface, the Knightscope Security Operations Center. Job
Summary Knightscope is looking for a detailed-oriented, technically
astute, friendly, client-oriented individual the just loves to keep
customers happy to join our Network Operations Center ("NOC") Team
- and has the technical chops to help do it! NOC Specialists
oversee monitoring critical machines-in-network elements and
engaging in proactive network systems monitoring. Troubleshooting
is a daily task for a NOC Specialist, and they also monitor the
software, hardware, network, and signal strength from our
Autonomous Data Machines (ADMs) also known as Security Robots. Our
ADMs run 24/7 out in the field nationwide and can be quite similar
to monitoring servers in a data center - except our servers move,
lots more stuff on the "servers" and they are running outside (and
inside)! We are staffing up a team to keep an eye on our
machines-in-network across client deployments with a bird's eye
view of the entire "Galaxy" of robots. Experience with Linux is
required, and Robot Operating System (ROS) is a plus. The position
requires handling Level 1 issues and ability to work with senior
engineers in resolving Level 2 and above issues. Additional
responsibilities include working with technicians to make sure
service calls on the security robots are completed properly. This
position is currently open to remote candidates or in person at our
Mountain View Headquarters. Key Responsibilities
