Job Summary:

In this challenging and rewarding career opportunity, you will work with the Operations team to drive operational excellence and quality compliance for the sample services business and manufacturing of our high throughput bioimaging platform.

This role requires experience and understanding of strategic supply chain management, 3rd party logistics, warehousing best practices, transportation management, crating/packaging, and key supplier relationship management.

You should have a flexible mindset, be able to work in a fluid and dynamic environment, be comfortable working with globally distributed development and operation teams and have a strong desire to pursue creative solutions to challenging problems. This will require you to:

  • Perform shipping per written procedures, preparing shipping requests and shipments.
  • Prepares, reviews & approves files for import/export documents such as customs declarations, (SLI) shippers letter of instruction, SED (shipper's export declaration), IC (import certificate), etc. required for the lawful completion of import/export activities.
  • Audits and reviews, ensuring that commercial and sales invoices are accurate in accordance with physical shipment and customer's SLI, quantities, value of goods, country of origin, and other regulatory requirements. Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in compliance with relevant local, country and international customs laws and processes.

  • Fulfill orders per written procedures.
  • Manage inventory per written procedure
  • Assure supply chain is maintain with demand being fulfilled
  • Participate in the implementation of a Distribution Center.
  • Perform tasks related to the logistics of a Distribution Center per written procedures.
  • Manage and maintain supplier relationship
  • Generate and report internal metrics/KPIs. Monitor and log exceptions.
  • Create and submit claims for AMAT lost or damaged materials and assist suppliers with their parts claims. Coordinate with internal organizations to provide additional data if required for freight claims. Support escalations from internal and external providers
  • Support and perform laboratory/building maintenance and improvements
  • Support and perform equipment maintenance and calibration program
  • Perform purchasing and receiving per written procedure
  • Lead small to mid size operational task forces or projects
    Informs manager of any problems, issues or noted concerns during logistic operations.
  • Recommends modifications of existing quality system, process standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of the resources.
  • Support all other duties as assigned by manager.
    Key Competencies:
    • College degree or equivalent.
    • Experience in logistics and supplier management is preferred.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
    • Effective problem solving and organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
    • Ability to use Microsoft 365 including Windows/Word/Excel.
    • Willing to develop new solutions.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
      This position is located in Mountain View, CA and reports directly to Operation and Quality Manager.
