Job Description:
Job Description Responsibilities Performs a variety of duties in
support of the facility operations including but not limited to
preventative and general maintenance Support activities provided by
contractors for items related to building systems and
infrastructure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing,
electrical, HVAC and BMS Responds to Facilities Requests and
follows up with employees on facilities issues and problems. Assist
with coordinating calibration related activities with in-house
equipment owners and outside calibration service providers Assist
with maintaining calibration/maintenance database, input new
equipment & status of existing equipment/information Enter
calibration service in the electronic management system and file
hardcopies Review calibration service documents and initiate
quality records as needed such as deviations resulting from out of
tolerance findings Excellent communication skills when scheduling
instrument calibrations for minimal disruption to owners
Participate in promoting efficiency of systems with new ideas by
providing creative solutions to complex tasks in accordance with
company policies. Will have on-call duties and to respond to
after-hours emergency calls Available to work extra hours as needed
and on weekends for departmental projects or emergencies Skills
required Self-starter and able to follow detailed written work
instructions with minimal supervision Good mechanical aptitude and
the ability to work with hand and power tools Maintain maintenance
records according to cGMP regulations Ability to understand the
following disciplines: Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Pneumatics,
and Plumbing, in a commercial/industrial environment Ability to use
and learn a wide variety of computer applications including, MS
office, Excel, PowerPoint, computerized asset tracking systems,
building management systems and computerized maintenance management
systems for building & equipment maintenance Excellent
interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with internal and
external personnel Basic understanding of building systems, and the
knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks Ability to
work from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches Education and
experience High school diploma or equivalent experience and 2-4
years of related experience AA, Technical degree in Electrical,
Electronic, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering is a plus Physical
Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on
a computer Potentially prolonged periods standing Must be able to
lift up to 35-40 pounds at times US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
REQUIRED FULLY VACCINATED REQUIRED Company Description Alexza has
