THE ROLE
We are looking for someone who understands the big picture but also has an innate ability to drill down and execute with high attention to detail. We are looking for a Planning Analyst who drives strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals.

HERE'S WHAT A DAY AT WORK MAY LOOK LIKE...
Identify opportunities, actions, and recommendations through hindsight reporting.
Communicate complex information in a simple to understand yet actionable ways.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of tools and reports that support business needs.
Facilitate vendor negotiations by equipping the Buying, Planning, and Allocation teams with all necessary data analysis, inventory, and scenario mockups.
Ad hoc analysis and projects based on business needs.
Develop relationships with all-across departments.
ABOUT YOU...
2+ years of planning experience
Project management experience (Advanced experience with data query/manipulation)
Must work well under pressure and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines
The right balance of creative and analytical thinking
Self-motivated type
Computer Savvy (Advanced in Excel)
Comfortable with trend analysis, allocation, and problem-solving skills
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE, NOT NECESSARY...
Bachelor Degree.
Experience buying/planning for a large national retailer from multiple suppliers
One to two years of specialty retail experience
