Autonomous Vehicle Pilots Location: Mountain View/Fremont, CA Job SummaryOur Autonomous Vehicle team is quickly expanding and we are looking for an Autonomous Vehicle Operator to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for operating our autonomous test vehicles that run proprietary software and hardware. You will be an integral part of a fast- paced team helping to advance our cutting-edge technologies by performing testing activities and providing accurate and detailed feedback to our engineers.You must pass a number of training checkpoints, both in and out of the car. Expected to keep all project details confidential. A clean driving history is required.Responsibilities* ? Safely operate and test our autonomous vehicles 6-8 hours a day, five days a week.* ? Collaborate with various teams to advance our technologies and internal workflows.* ? Develop a holistic understanding of how our self-driving technology works* ? Troubleshoot while testing on surface streets during real-world conditions.* ? Monitor software and hardware processes when operating the vehicle autonomously.* ? Provide detailed analysis and feedback about the autonomous system; identify potentialbehavior quirks and critical patterns.Qualifications and Skills* ? Valid U.S driver's license with 5+years driving experience and a clean driving record.* ? Flexible and willing to work different shifts including early AM, nights, and weekends.* ? Ability to hold constant focus and stay alert while on the job.* ? Possess sound judgement in any situation to maintain the highest level of safety.* ? Comfortable multi-tasking in dynamic environments.* ? Self-driven with entrepreneurial mind-set.* ? Comfortable working both individually and in small groups of 2-10 people.* ? Typing skills: 50/min.* ? Excellent oral and written communication skills* ? Proficient with android-based smartphones, Microsoft Office apps, and GSuite apps.* ? BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.* ?
