Job Description:

cloud builders. We're seeking an innovative and strategic leader to
join our Developer Experience organization and own our student
programs and community initiatives. This role presents an
exceptional opportunity to shape how students learn, build, and
grow with AWS while creating lasting connections within the broader
developer community. As the People Manager for Student Programs &
Community, you'll work at the intersection of developer education,
community building, and technical advocacy. You'll collaborate with
our AWS Builder Center and AWS Builder Loft teams to create
seamless, engaging experiences that meet students where they are
and inspire them to build their future on AWS. Key job
responsibilities - Lead and develop a team focused on student
developer engagement and community building - Design and execute
strategic programs that increase AWS adoption among student
developers globally - Partner with AWS Builder Center and Builder
Loft teams to create integrated student experiences - Build and
maintain relationships with key educational institutions and
student organizations - Define success metrics and track program
effectiveness - Drive operational excellence in program execution
and team management BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 6 years of professional
non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and
metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau
(data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience
driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams - 5
years of team management experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
Experience leading primary research studies across various
methodologies: online quant surveys, focus groups, 1:1,
ethnographies, online qual, mobile - Experience communicating
results to senior leadership - Experience in third party
vendor/research partner management contract negotiation Amazon is

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $124,100/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $205,200/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
