For more information, visit About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate candidate to join the business development team to drive the growth of NewsBreak. The primary function is to manage the end-to-end full deal cycle of partnership and strategic deals with publishers (in all categories, not just news), media organizations, TV networks, content providers, as well as other digital platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook, Apple, etc.). The focus of the role will be expanding and elevating existing editorial-based deals, video including CTV, and B2B services across 3rd parties including publishers and other strategic partners.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prospect and engage media publishers (digital, print, broadcast, CTV and other strategics) - for partnership with NewsBreakDevelop publisher relationships, lead the negotiation of key terms and structure agreements to expand NewsBreak's publisher baseManage the end-to-end process of the deal cycleAttend trade shows, conferences and other events across the US for building and maintaining relationshipsMaintain an active pipeline, prioritize leads and clearly communicate status to the rest of the companyAnalyze business results, generate reports, and build sales presentationsRequirements4+ years' experience in digital/print/broadcast/CTV publisher business development is requiredExperience developing and managing a partnership or sales pipelineStrong contacts in the digital publisher space is a plusProficiency in digital ad technology requiredProven track record of taking ownership and driving results from deal initiation to close with minimal supervisionStrong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to identify trends and use data to backup recommendationsStrong writing, presentation, and negotiation skillsHigh-energy, driven, curious personality with proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentBA or equivalent requiredBenefitsWe offer competitive benefits package:Health, dental, and vision care for you and your familyTop-tier 401(K) plan with company matchingPaid time off and paid holidaysPaid parental leaveFSA and commuter benefits programsTeam activity budgetThe US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training.
