We are looking for a friendly, reliable host for our scavenger hunts and escape experiences. The host will be responsible for running small events, and will make the difference between a good experience and a raving excellent experience for our customers. Some job duties include: Preparing game supplies prior to events Greeting a group of players and introducing them to the game Providing hints to players throughout the game Wrapping up the experience and debriefing in a fun, informative way The Ideal Host: Is highly organized Speaks clearly and feels comfortable in front of a small group Is detail oriented and appreciates the intricacies of clever mysteries and puzzles Has good people skills and is committed to delivering a great customer experience About Bay Mystery Scavenger Hunts: Bay Mystery was founded to provide Bay Area technologists and visitors fun scavenger hunts inspired by the history of Silicon Valley. In each Bay Mystery experience, players work in teams to solve a puzzling case or challenge using clues and brain teasers. Since the launch of The Great Chip Heist Mystery at the Computer History Museum, thousands of engineers and technologists have come to us for team building events, offsites and weekend adventures. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: Hosts are required to wear a mask. We offer one indoor experience. The venue requires proof of Covid vaccinations or a negative test result, and recommends that visitors wear a mask. The rest of our experiences take place largely outdoors.
