allows them to thrive. As such, this newly created position, Senior
Employee Relations Business Partner / Employee Relations Consultant
will provide guidance, support, and recommendations for the
resolution of employee relations activities including performance
improvement, conflict resolution, policy interpretation and
consistency, investigations and compliance, and sensitive
employment decisions.
Engage as a trusted adviser, partner, and subject matter expert to
provide coaching to managers and employees on a variety of ER
scenarios including performance development, performance
improvement, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution
Demonstrate a strong understanding of company policy, culture and
values, and local employment law practices to make recommendations
that will help resolve complex and unique employment-related
issues
Support necessary course of action between managers and employees
to drive optimal outcomes
Design, develop, and iterate scalable processes, practices, tools,
and templates to better enable coaching, improvement, issue
resolution, and employment decisions
In partnership with functional managers, HRBPs, and Employment
Counsel understand and mitigate risk through best practice
strategies to ensure a positive and effective employee
experience
Leverage metrics and data to diagnose organizational effectiveness
and common ER themes to develop the right education, training, and
partnership to reduce the occurrence of common ER scenarios
Design and conduct investigations and organizational assessments;
recommend and develop appropriate remediation
Assist in creating Performance Management best practice materials
and provide manager coaching to facilitate best outcomes
What You'll Need To Bring To This Role...
8+ years of experience in Employee Relations or client-facing HRBP
role
Experience building or developing a dedicated Employee Relations
function within an organization
Collaborative, motivated, self-starter willing to develop best
practice strategies and approaches to Employee Relations and a high
performing work culture
Ability to understand and interpret multiple sides of complex
scenarios and involve necessary individuals at the appropriate
time
Ability to lead, influence, and partner across key stakeholders to
ensure the best outcome
Strong written documentation ability, and ability to leverage many
sources of data.
Ability to diagnose root cause through listening, inquiry, and
further exploration
Bachelor's Degree and Master's in Business, Human Resources
Management, Background/experience in Employment Law desiredEmployee
Relations, or I/O Psychology preferred (International experience a
plus)
Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team
environment
