Job Description:
As a Bloomreach Solutions Architect , you would be one of the
trusted advisors of our high-energy, high-performance global
pre-sales team, typically involved in later stages of the sales
cycle. Your job would be to partner with our sales team and
pre-sales Solutions Consultants, helping drive value for our
customers by leading the technical aspects of our scoping and
implementation efforts on Bloomreach's rapidly growing Engagement
platform. The Solutions Architect role involves maintaining a solid
understanding of the Bloomreach product strategy, professional
services offerings, and sales pipeline to identify opportunities
where our services can bring business value to our customers and
identify where implementations will need deep requirements
gathering. Your role will require significant collaboration with
customers and internal teams to ensure our engagements are set up
for success from the pre-sales cycle. A strong customer
orientation, exceptional collaboration skills, and a solid
technical background are key elements for success in this role. -
Your job will be to:
- Own the solution design and key design decisions of the
Bloomreach Engagement platform with our customers and work across
departments with our implementation teams to ensure the full scope
of implementation is successfully delivered.
- Be a subject matter expert for the Bloomreach Engagement
platform for both technical and business audiences.
- Understand the client's team structures and capabilities, and
determine how best to address bottlenecks and meet needs with a mix
of solutions and services. -
- Evaluate complexities, identify custom features that may be
needed, and work with internal stakeholders to deliver to the
customer.
- Engage directly with prospects and customers to ensure key
technical design decisions are aligned with functional and business
requirements.
- Be able to write a full and comprehensive statement of
work.
- Quickly develop a deep understanding of Bloomreach products and
how they can be leveraged to meet customer requirements.
- Improve internal processes for requirements gathering and
scoping.
- Optimize by reducing the time it takes to complete the scoping
process, while ensuring the scope of work outlines the
implementation work clearly. You have the following experience and
qualities:
- Professional - experience in pre-sales and can drive a complex
technical sales process
- Personal - excellent communication skills with the ability to
speak to both technical and non-technical audiences,
detail-oriented, and can articulate the value of personalized
online experiences - Professional experience
- A BS in Information Systems / Computer Science, or equivalent
degree
- 5+ years experience in technical services and/or pre-sales in
(SaaS, Martech, e-commerce, CDP) and can drive a complex technical
sales process
- Understands basic concepts of Machine Learning and AI
- Guide customers and prospects in the architecture and
implementation of their use cases
- A strong understanding of the digital marketing/advertising
landscape, as well as the ability to simply and succinctly explain
complex concepts
- Has industry experience in retail, e-commerce, marketplace, DTC
brands, or CPG
- Desired prior experience working with CDPs or Data
companies
- Strong presentation and communication skills and able to speak
to both business and technical audiences
- Can articulate the value of the implementation tools that
enable personalized online experiences
- Skilled at balancing the needs of complex stakeholders and
developing cohesive solutions
- Detail-oriented, with very strong technical problem-solving and
debugging skills
- Strong background and professional achievement, creative,
out-of-box thinking
