About This Role
The Pure Storage Global Systems Integrators (GSI) Account Executive
is a senior level Business Development and Sales Leadership role,
based in the US, but with the need to work globally with our GSI
partners, including DXC, Kyndryl, Accenture, and others.
This role will be working at the forefront of Pure's global sales
capability. The GSI business is the growth engine for Pure and the
GSI AE is the lead role. In this role you will engage clients in
conversations about their technology needs to help them in their
transformation to embrace a digital business.
You will be responsible for owning all of your assigned GSI
relationships in the region and your primary responsibility will be
to generate and develop new business. You will also be fully
accountable for the health of the GSI relationship and bookings on
existing Pure accounts within the region.
Above all else you will have outstanding existing relationships
with the technology decision makers within the GSI community. You
will also have a great grasp of IT industry trends, broad IT
industry experience, commercial and business case skills and an
all-round high degree of business insight.
What You Bring To The Team
Experience as a sales leader who is currently selling into the
GSI's or currently in a sales role within a GSI.
A deep understanding of the client's business fundamentals and
industry drivers, be accustomed to crafting a value proposition and
have the ability to support a business case that is directly linked
to their model and issues.
Excellent sales and business development skills and a track record
of leading large IT Solution Pursuits, whether those be complex
technology, consulting, IT services or outsourcing engagements.
Excellent interpersonal skills including written, diagrammatic and
oral and be able to reduce complex ideas to simple terms and
express these to both a non-technical and technical audience.
A hunger to quickly learn new business models and drivers and
articulate how Pure and the GSI can help a customer meet their
Authenticity, gravitas and a desire to engage clients.
Ability to inspire/ignite excitement internally and externally
around the company's long-term vision and ability to execute
against the market trend.
Comfortability to quickly establish yourself as a leader with
vision and trusted advisor with your client partner and Pure.
A desire to be entrepreneurial and with a strong passion to make a

GSI's, showing how they have incorporated their solution into their
GSI's portfolio, delivery reference architectures, internal
environments SaaS offerings and new pursuits.
