and implementation.Role SummaryThis role is a key contributor to BI
& Analytics team, anticipating user needs and improving user
experience by consulting and creating easy to use and aesthetically
pleasing products for stakeholders to engage with. Must possess the
interpersonal and analytical skills to understand target audiences
to develop products that appeal to them and their understanding of
technology. They will provide guidance to technical and business
team members on best practice guidelines related to UI/UX
enhancement intake as well as drive prioritization leveraging level
of effort and value contribution matrix. This role will also be on
a team responsible for troubleshooting production technology issues
and solving for root cause analysis.. Job Description.
Responsibilities. Gather and evaluate user requirements in
collaboration with product managers and engineers. Illustrate
design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. Design
graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites
function and look like. Create original graphic designs (e.g.
images, sketches and tables). Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
(e.g. responsiveness). Conduct layout adjustments based on user
feedback. Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
Education. 4-year college degree in Design, Computer Science,
computer-related programs such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
or relevant field. Required Experience. Proven work experience as a
UI/UX Designer or similar role. Portfolio of design projects.
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision).
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Photoshop, Zeplin,
OmniGraffle, Adobe Illustrator and Sketch. Ability to understand
business metrics and translate company goals and objectives into
digital experiences. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills to communicate ideas to developers. Problem-solving skills
to determine solutions to user interface challenges. Analytical
mind with business acumen. Ability to work both independently and
in a team. Attention to detail and mastery of information design.
Ownership. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
skills. Proven record of providing excellent internal and external
customer service. Detail oriented with excellent analytical,
research, and organizational skills. Capable of performing in a
fast paced environment with measurable results. Must be able to be
able to explain technical concepts and procedures to non technical
