Rapyd is looking for a dynamic, high-impact Head of Sales to lead and manage the growth, health, and innovation of our sales team in the Americas region. The ideal Head of Sales is technically and financially savvy, creative, with a strong personal vision, extremely strong domain expertise, and experience working with cross-functional teams to build and lead a team of executives who are responsible for cultivating and closing deals in the region. Moreover, the ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader, able to steer our regional sales while also implementing Rapyds vision, mission, and long-term goals.

Duties for the Head of Sales will include managing and training a regional team, developing, signing, and pushing to close new deals in the Americas region for Rapyd.

Location: Mountain View, Miami, New York, Denver.

Responsibilities:

Lead Rapyds regional sales team, ensuring Rapyd leadership is aligned with the regional sales strategies

Recruit, train and manage a high-performing regional sales team, defining its operating model, goals, KPIs, and norms in alignment with Rapyds principles and overarching mission and strategy

Partner effectively with key leaders in Rapyd, including our Network, Financial Operations, Global Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams

Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly team activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals ensuring above quota team results based on successful pipeline management

Work closely with Compliance to provide practical, day-to-day guidance partners on a wide range of compliance matters related to payments and financial regulation, ensuring partners comply with regulatory policies

Develop, pursue, and execute through to closing new business sales opportunities for Rapyd

Conduct detailed needs assessments for prospects focusing on their international payment business needs and strategic priorities
