Come find out what Anritsu has to offer you!As a Hardware or Sr. Hardware Development Engineer based in Morgan Hill, CA, you will have responsibility for product development for new components and test-and-measurement instruments.Key Responsibilities include:RF / Microwave / mm-Wave circuit / component design and developmentIntegration into VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, or Synthesizer systemsCreate Block Diagrams and schematics of designs from project requirementsPerform system calculations where necessary such as NF, TOI, phase noise, and power consumptionResponsible for managing necessary PCB/substrate layouts and mechanical portions of designPrototype bring-up and debugging, and functional verificationDevelop specifications from test data and transition to manufacturingThis position will be reporting to the Hardware Manager based in Morgan Hill, CARequirements:BSEE required, MSEE and PhD preferred3+ years of experience in design of Analog, RF/Microwave/mm-Wave circuits, systems and componentsExperience with chip-and-wire techniques and thin-film designExperience in design of Test and Measurement equipment is a plusDesign experience in both passive and active devices and subsystemsProficient with hands-on troubleshooting of RF/Microwave/mm-Wave circuitsSkilled in the operations of test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs and Power metersExpert working experience with computerized schematic entry and PCB design toolsProficient with simulators such as SPICE and Microwave Office (or similar)Working knowledge with field simulators such as CST or HFSSIn order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required:Self-starterApplying abilities, skills, and knowledge to perform jobDisplaying up-to-date technical knowledgeUsing external and internal expert resources as neededBalancing theory, experience and practiceSolving technical problemsWhy work at Anritsu?
