The role will both compose new documentation and edit the work of others, ensuring high standards for readability, grammar, and content. The key to success in this rule is the ability to synthesize complex instructions into easy to follow guidebooks, instructions, and general communications. The person in this position should be an expert in communications.Scope: Resolves a wide range of issues in creative waysSeasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their specialityWorks on problems of a diverse scopeReceives little instruction on day to day work, general instruction on new assignmentsYour Roles and Responsibilities:Create and maintain how-to documentation related to inventory management and IT logisticsDevelop collateral for a Learning Management System (LMS)Ensure documentation is easy to read, grammatically perfect, succinct, adheres to standards, and is, overall, effective in terms of intended purposeProvide expertise to others in terms of effective communication methodsDevelop narrative content along with graphics and diagramsDevelop and edit weekly communications to inventory technicians, for content related to change managementConduct interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation.Other duties as required. Create program/project web sites in Google Sites, interacting with programmanagers and the senior technical writer.B. Develop collateral for a Learning Management System (LMS).C. Ensure documentation is easy to read, grammatically perfect, succinct,adheres to standards, and is, overall, effective in terms of intended purpose.D. Develop narrative content, possibly including graphics and diagramsE. Conduct interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data fordocumentation.F. Communicate clearly and regularly to clients about the project progress andpotential roadblocks.G. Other duties as required.
