Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex,
multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering
expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher
projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes
managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly
communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home
explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives
as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product
development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you
manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future
opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical
directions of your programs.
As the Technical Program Manager for Platforms Development, you
will keep an innovative engineering team firing on all cylinders.
You will work closely with engineers of many specialities, product
managers, and internal and external partners around the world to
define, design, build, test and ship products. You will coordinate
many fast-changing, moving parts, get them to come together as a
product and be the central point-of-contact for all questions about
schedules, quality and progress updates. You will also be
responsible for identifying and managing risks, making sound
judgments about quality, and stopping or speeding up production at
the right time.

- Lead the hardware development and validation of System
Platforms needed to evaluate system architecture design and enable
development across hardware and software teams.
- Create and manage hardware development schedules, drive the
development board builds and supporting subsystems and manage
allocations to cross-functional teams.
- Partner with the electrical engineering, layout and
cross-functional teams to coordinate and drive schematic, placement
and layout reviews.
- Interface with Google suppliers, hardware, software, validation
and product engineering teams to ensure prototypes are thoroughly
tested and issues are identified, tracked and root caused.
- Synthesize large amounts of data into a clear story and
communicate to key stakeholders across all levels of the
