The purpose of this position is to provide service and support
to the warehouse by handling shipping and receiving tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Loads/unloads merchandise or material from cars or trucks. Packs
and unpacks shipments, processing, scanning and shelving of parts,
pulling orders, and data entry into computerized inventory control
Processes and verifies inventory movement transactions,
maintains overall accuracy of inventory levels.
Plans layout, maintenance and up keep of stockroom and other
storage areas and consolidates existing stock to maximize space
Operates all lift equipment in a safe manner to ensure personal
protection and to ensure the protection of other personnel and
Maintains housekeeping in and around the back stock storage
Uses scanner & computer to enter data and maintain
May perform other duties as assigned or requested by

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent
Previous related work experience in warehouse, shipping and
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Certified forklift operating license required.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short
correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure
understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
