The success candidate will lead and manage a quality software development team focused on analyzing and improving a very large code base with the goal to improve stability, performance, scalability and testability.

Responsibilities will include--priority-setting and tracking of projects,--and enabling communication and cohesion across multiple product groups. Candidates will be expected to drive initiatives and projects and follow them through to completion. Meeting with cross-functional teams and internal customers will also be part of this role.

Experience/Background:
--

• BS/MS/Phd in EE, CE, CS with 10-12 years of experience is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of managing and leading software teams, is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Creative and innovative mindset.
• Strong--interpersonal, mentoring--and presentation skills.
• Requires experience with high quality-oriented software engineering practices in high performance software design or compiler technology.
• Experience working in very large and complex software systems
