Job Title: UX Designer Job Description: Rockstar UI/UX Designer! We're looking for a stellar UI/UX Designer with high end B2C experience to come in at the grassroot level and work closely with the founders in building out a next gen revolutionary solution which is going to disrupt an industry segment within HR Tech. You will be working with seasoned serial entrepreneurs who have built and sold companies in a couple of industries.
A huge part of this is the user experience, where this role takes a pivotal stance - we're looking for someone to work within the Product Management team to help build a next gen platform. In an effort to sound cool we want you to know that we aren't just some stodgy HR company, we're a technology & internet start-up that blends social media, semantic technology, career expertise and an innovative business process to provide a best-of-breed platform. We're dedicated to helping for the greater good as well as creating value by creating a brand and product that really works. We're looking for a UX Designer who is able to marry user needs and effective design.
This role is a game changer. We're in the Bay Area. This is a full-time role, so please, no agencies or contractors.
Responsibilities
--- Own both B2C and B2B design--- Support product development by researching and rapidly designing iterative functional solutions to enhance the user experience --- Work side-by-side with Front End Development and Back End Development to build and validate all visual/functional development--- Present design ideas and approaches clearly articulating the UX design principles and methodologies that informs the work--- Create user-centered designs by considering feedback from all constituents, including interviewing potential users--- Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences--- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups and clickable prototypes--- Develop and maintain a design system
Qualifications
--- Passionate advocate for the end-user--- Strong ability to empathize and understand end-user motivations and feelings --- Expertise in visual, UI, UX and usability best practices--- Proven ability to translate complex design challenges into clear, user-friendly experiences--- Great eye for sophisticated visual design and layout--- Working understanding of e-commerce--- Collaborative, inclusive and flexible team member--- Highly-organized with extreme attention to detail--- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment--- Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment--- Positive, constructive approach--- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills


Experience Required
--- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human Computer Interactions, or equivalent experience--- 3+ years of product design experience--- Understanding of the capabilities and best practices relating to the use of front-end Web technologies and mobile, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flutter--- Fashion/Travel/Retail brand experience desired --- Experience delivering on business and creative goals through design--- Utilize design thinking principles to build engaging customer experiences which solve goals with elegant simplicity--- Have a clear sense of urgency to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and techniques to more rapidly deliver work--- Have product thinking and good user empathy, and be able to participate in user research, interactive design, design prototype development, etc
