Job Description The goal is to enable NASA Ames to be a quality
testbed for high density vertiplex including multiple vertiports
with multiple corridors between the vertiports. Equipment to be
used for the test range: wind sensors for corners of buildings and
vertiports, radar for passive detection, wireless communications
technology, GPS accuracy enhancement technology, etc.
Qualifications The person would need two main skills: 1) Sensor
engineering expertise - radar, lidar, passive detection (bi-static
RF), and 2) Systems architecture expertise - demonstrated
experience in designing, developing and implementing an
architecture of different systems into one coherent environment.
Bachelors in engineering is required.
