Job Description:
State Farm, a leader in the insurance and financial services
industry since 1922, is currently seeking a highly skilled Attorney
to join our dedicated Legal & Regulatory Compliance team. This
position will focus on providing legal support primarily in areas
related to auto, life, and homeowners insurance, as well as our
banking and financial services. The ideal candidate will be
proficient in interpreting and enforcing legal standards and
regulatory expectations that pertain to the insurance industry.
Provide expert legal advice and support across various insurance
product lines including auto, life, and homeowners. Assist the
compliance team with regulatory audits and inquiries. Prepare,
review, and negotiate company contracts. Represent the company in
legal proceedings. Draft and revise legal documents and
correspondence. Maintain current knowledge of the insurance
industry's regulations and practices. Strong expertise in insurance
law, regulatory compliance, and contract law. Exceptional
analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight
deadlines. Proficient in legal research tools. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must be
licensed to practice law in the applicable state. Certifications in
Compliance such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional
(CCEP) advantageous.
