Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical
experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 7 years
of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure,
distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute
technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. 5 years of
experience with design and architecture and testing or launching
software products. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD
in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 8
years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 5 years of
experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and
setting technical direction. 3 years of experience working in a
matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business
projects. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and
concepts. Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge in machine
learning and AI, with a focus on understanding the underlying

problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$248,000-$349,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

bonus, equity, or benefits. Responsibilities Define a multi-year
technical strategy for AI infrastructure that bridges the gap
between high-level business goals and engineering needs, and build
the foundational control plane building blocks required to support
AI/ML workloads at scale. Lead the integration of infrastructure
with industry-standard orchestrators like Kubernetes, Slurm, and
Ray to ensure seamless workload management. Oversee the development
of critical system logic, including resource scheduling,
configuration distribution, and state management for massive
clusters. Translate vague requirements into concrete, scalable
technical solutions while contributing back to the global
open-source community. Scale the engineering organization by
mentoring talent into leadership roles, mitigating operational
risks, and driving cross-functional alignment with key partners to
deliver unified software stacks.
