To learn more about the brand and offerings, you can visit and .About the Role:Hims & Hers is seeking a highly motivated, talented, and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Flow Platform team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, design, medical, marketing, and analytics, to build innovative features that drive significant growth across all treatment categories on hims.com and forhers.com. By enhancing the user experience and optimizing acquisition funnels, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and increasing revenue.You Will:

• Lead and execute the design, development, and deployment of high-impact features for our flow platform.
• Build scalable and performant full stack solutions that drive business growth.
• Mentor and develop team members by setting best practices for architecture, coding, delivery, and operations.
• Foster collaboration across engineering pods and teams to create reusable, scalable solutions, contributing to architecture blueprints that benefit the entire organization.
• Partner with key stakeholders in product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and project management to make data-driven decisions and optimize performance.
• Contribute to the technical vision of the Category Growth Engineering pods, identifying and implementing new technologies to enhance security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with backend and quality engineers to deliver high-quality code that powers hims.com and forhers.com.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in sprint ceremonies and process refinement.You Have:
  • 8+ years experience in software engineering, preferably in a growth-focused engineering environment.
  • Proven experience in building scalable web applications and services, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Next, GraphQL) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Redis).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in the software development process.
  • Strong sense of ownership and bias for action.Nice To Have:
    • Passion for healthcare and a keen interest in understanding the complexities of the problem space.
    • Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
    • Backend experience in Node/Nest.js and Kotlin.
    • Proficiency in TypeScript, GraphQL, and power user of tools such as Datadog, Amplitude, Growthbook and Contentful.
