We arelooking for a Software QA Engineer (KCAP) who will be responsible for - drivingthe overall QA efforts and perform end-to-end testing of a product or featuresincluding requirement gathering, design analysis, test case creation/review andautomating scripts. Roleand Responsibilities:

  • Independently drive QA efforts, qualityof the project, assess, report product quality risks and ensure qualitydeliverables in android platform.
  • Create Test strategy, Test Plan andperform test execution across different devices.
  • Plan automation testing strategies,timelines/milestones, build maintainable, high quality and effective automatedtests.
  • Analyzeproduction issues, identify test gaps across the entire testing stack and makesystemic improvements to Automation testing.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage byparticipating in feature and design review with other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with onsite and overseascross functional teams during project life cycle, PM, developer and TPM fortest case review, defect review and risk assessment to ensure qualitydeliverables.
  • Analyzing quality data, identifyingareas of improvement, and implementing innovative ideas to improve qualitysolutions.
  • Work in a fast pace environment onmultiple projects/initiatives. Required Experience and Education:
    • 3-4 years of experience driving testingefforts for a project independently and supporting end-to-end testing withexposure to complete project life cycle.
    • BS/MS in Computer science or similarfields.
    • Proficientin android device testing, automating test cases and test automation tools.
    • Excellent understanding of QA processesand methodologies.
    • Experience working with global team withdifferent geographical location. Necessary Skills and Attributes:
      • Self-motivatedindividual with the ability to thrive in a team-based orindependent environment.
      • Detail-oriented with strongorganization skills.
      • Ability to work in afast-paced environment.
      • Limited supervisionand the exercise of discretion.
      • Ability to work on multiple simultaneousprojects/initiatives.
      • Good communication skills and good at preparing detail documentation for a project. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizinghigh visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, andmoderate hand/finger dexterity. Performswork under time schedules and stress which are normallyperiodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and projectmanagement deadlines. May require working additional timebeyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
