Job Description and Requirements
As an integral member of the Formal Verification R&D
Engineering team, the candidate will drive the development of new
formal verification tools and applications, while working with
technical leadership in Synopsys and customers. Key
Responsibilities
Build state-of-the-art tools,
applications, and algorithms for formal verification, safety, and
security. Collaborate with R&D architects across EDAG, and work
with management to evangelize and drive new tools and methodologies
for customers. Work with customer architects to understand
strategic requirements and architect and build next-generation
products and features Mentor junior R&D engineers and build
expert teams in strategic formal areas Represent Synopsys and VC
Formal in industry and academic forums. Key skills needed for this
position:
Deep understanding and experience
developing state-of-the-art formal verification algorithms, as
evidenced by a strong research paper publishing record. History of
extensive semiconductor industry collaboration, in identifying and
solving problems with original, innovative solutions.
An Expertise in formal applications
and their application to diverse functional verification problems,
including software and hardware verification Expertise in machine
learning technologies, and their applications to functional
verification and a proven track record of creating state-of-the-art
algorithms in this area. Experience in formulating and driving new
techniques for verification of automated control and embedded
systems, including verification of security, safety, power, and
performance. Minimum Experience
Minimum industrial or academic
experience in formal verification: 15+ years Ph.D. in Computer
Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering
