Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Technical Program Manager. This is a 6 month + contract position located in Mountain View, CA.

Description:

  • The client has a travel product with a mission to be the trusted place where travelers go for the most useful information to make fast, effortless decisions.
  • The Hotels team supports this fast-growing product and its partners from onboarding and ongoing feed health maintenance to feature adoption and optimization opportunities.
    Responsibilities:
    • As a Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with sales teams, partners, product managers and engineers and manage projects such as rollout of our next generation of partner feed management platform, migration of hotels ad management, and partner integration of emerging product features.
    • You will also provide hands-on partner support, including troubleshooting and escalation, partner communication and support documentation development to ensure successful partner integrations of these emerging features.
    • Ensure prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges
    • Understand hotel platform and travel related products
    • Set up proper and scalable support process and workflows for existing or emerging products
    • Serve as a technical project/partner manager for travel products to support new feature pilots.
    • Support new process incubation and emerging feature integrations for partners.
    • Develop and publish external and internal support content to allow for partners self-diagnosis.
    • Document pilot feedback from partners to shape support processes and workflows.
    • Cross-functional communication and escalation
    • Work with Sales, gTech, Eng and vendors to identify and solve partner problems
    • Own partner issue escalation, triage and prioritization and manage necessary internal and external communications
    • Identify, gather and report internal and external operational and product feedback
    • Support the operational aspects of emerging feature integrations by providing internal and external teams with necessary documentation, guidance and communications
    • Handle and facilitate internal and external communications, and work with Product and Engineering teams to resolve partner issue escalation, triage and prioritization.
    • Set up proper and scalable support process and workflows for existing or emerging products
      Requirements:
      • BA/BS degree with 5+ years relevant work experience
      • 5+ years of experience in managing product or program, or operations support for internal and external clients in the internet technology fields.
      • Experience working with and managing external partners and/or customers.
      • Solid understanding of Internet technologies, such as HTML, URL, XML, API, CSV, SQL, along with basic knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, Cookies, JSON, and data structure.
      • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams on technical troubleshooting and process documentations.
      • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets (pivot tables, charts, formulas, and other data analysis functions).
      • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
      • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)

        • Hands-on technical development or troubleshooting experience
