Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience defining and leading technical programs related to data warehousing, software development, and/or machine learning.5 years of experience in defining, leading, and/or performing research.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.Experience developing operational and product quality key performance indicators.Ability to think creatively, work on large organizational problem-solving, and adapt to meet the needs of a changing and growing organization.Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and bring talent/ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to drive executional impact at scale. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Responsibilities Lead the design, measurement, and optimization of our research, feature development, knowledge production operations, and build and manage our partner engagement ecosystem.Partner with Societal Context Understanding Tools and Solutions (SCOUTS) -Engineering and Product Leads to establish strategy and tactics to realize the team mission.Collaborate with internal and external research partners to define and drive societal context by understanding research agendas. Establish scalable and measurable client and partnership processes and ecosystems.Set the goals and direction for broad, cross-organizational initiatives by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and providing oversight across multiple programs, identifying and mitigating systemic issues across the programs portfolio, and defining program controls, governance, and standards to transform and deliver execution effectiveness.
