Job Description:
This candidate will be porting stress test from pre-silicon test
(ARM assembly language needed) to post-silicon. Such tests include
SoC max power and Thermal stress test. Candidate will also be
developing collateral to extract and process raw performance data
(hardware counters in SoC) for application profiling. Candidate
will be enhancing existing memory performance tools on ARM for more
extensive performance characterization. Candidate will be testing
IO/PCIe performance using FPGA traffic generator test cards.
Candidate will be developing overall platform stress test tools.
Skills: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely
related field Strong knowledge and experience in and around ARM SoC
architecture Experience in multi-processor SoC Experience in
pre-boot firmware, low level firmware , chipset initialization.
Experience in and around Embedded Linux Operation System Excellent
C/C++ design and coding skills ARM assembly programming (for
porting stress test from pre-silicon) Experience in System/OS
(Windows/Linux) benchmarking Experience in IO/PCIe performance and
power Good understanding of hardware performance counters and
events Experience in FPGA test content development or FPGA-based
traffic generator. Agilex / Xilinx / Altera Knowledge of
performance monitors tools - EDP EMON tool from Intel, PerfMon
(Windows) Knowledge of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) stress test.
Knowledge of High performance computing (HPC) Python
programming/scripting.
