Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Recruiter to join our Human
Resources department to create and drive efficient and scalable
solutions for our full-cycle recruiting. This includes hands-on
recruitment, global full-cycle process creation, results/KPI
tracking, cost management, and driving the strategic global
initiatives for both direct talent acquisition and agency
recruitment partners. This position will drive the employee
experience starting from the first contact through a successful
onboarding. Talent Acquisition responsibilities include the
development of sourcing strategies through various sources and
activities. To be successful in this role, you should be able to
develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting
relationships with potential global hires. As a senior member of
our Global HR Team, this role will require a keen eye and
understanding for process development in strategies for Diversity
and Inclusion, Global Cultural differences, and the EdCast employer
branding initiatives. This role will also be responsible for
managing all agency partners, negotiating contracts, managing
quality, measuring deliverable KPIs, SLAs, Cost, and ensuring
compliance is followed for all recruitment activities. This
position is a critical part of our HR organization and will be
called upon to participate on HR activities, projects, and
events.Responsibilities:
- Build customer relationships with client organizations and
consult and interact with hiring managers on hiring strategies and
staffing needs
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
- Create a global job description library supporting all
functional areas
- Provide market research to support talent pool and geographic
profiling to guide recruiting in various locations globally
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to source the best
talent
- Lead EdCast Employer Branding initiatives
- Provide recruiting solutions to complex staffing issues
- Skill Market "Hot Candidates" to client-organizations
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g.
social platforms, professional networks, posting sites, trade
associations, university alumni)
- Organize and attend online and in-person recruitment
events
- Develop various pipelines of candidates for all evergreen
positions globally
- Provide excellent support to candidates throughout the
recruitment process to ensure a world-class candidate
experience
- Review, pre-screen and interview candidates to determine the
appropriateness of skills, experience, knowledge, and cultural fit,
in relation to position requirements
- Implement best practices in hiring and recruiting policies and
procedures
- Schedule and track interview and selection procedures,
including screening calls, assessments, scorecards, testing, and
in-person interviews
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact
details, using our Applicant Tracking System
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and
potential candidates
- Conduct background checks for prospective candidates
- Prepare and process compensation targets, processes, and
issues
- Drive and manage effective communication and career development
aligned with corporate objectives. Host training programs for all
TA resources.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates,
recruiters, hiring managers throughout the full recruiting cycle
(i.e. communicate status, answer questions and coordinate all
follow-up efforts)
- Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by
providing status updates to all stakeholders through meetings,
email updates, and reports
- Monitor the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts, with
specific attention paid to the continued flow of candidates through
the recruiting pipeline
- Act as a mentor and lead by example for other recruiters across
the teams
- Manage agency partners, process candidates, manage
scorecard/quality of candidates and SLAs
- Follow all D&I policies, strategies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases, online events,
and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, , and Github)
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various
interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Admin experience and knowledge with Applicant Tracking Systems
(ATSs) and Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles
within organizations
- BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field is a
plus
- Ability to negotiate and hire candidates within market
standards established and followed by EdCast
- 7+ years of successful recruiting experience in a fast-paced
environment on software engineering or technically niche roles
- Ability to build strong, productive relationships with hiring
managers
- Experience in full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing,
screening, negotiations/closing, and candidate relationship
management
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity, and personal
accountability
- Experience working with multiple applicant tracking systems
(ATS)
- Regularly track pipeline activity to share with external
stakeholders
- Experience using data to consult with hiring managers to make
data-based decisions on processes and approaches; experience with
Tableau or Domo is a big plus
- Able to handle confidential information discreetly
- Strong labor compliance experience
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, continually evolving
environment using proven time management skills and working with a
strong sense of urgency
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience with Diversity and Inclusion hiring
- Experience with effective communication and training for all
