Remote location(s): United States. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Technical experience with sensors. Preferred qualifications:
    • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
    • 5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
    • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
    • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.
    • Experience working on motion sensors, optical sensors, health sensors, sensor framework, or fingerprint sensors. In this role, you'll be leading the state of the art sensor features that are critical for providing secure and seamless experience to our end-users. Additional Information
      (Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
      *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado. Responsibilities
      • Drive the complete development cycles for new sensor technology projects.
      • Define the team's roadmap and lead state of the art features.
      • Ensure memory, power, and performance optimization for custom SoCs.
      • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring out the best sensor experiences for the next generation of Pixel devices.
      • Work on lower-level computer systems, computer architecture, embedded systems, and kernel development.
