Job Description:

Position: Full Time or Contract-to-hire (3-6 months)
Location: San Francisco / Bay Area *MENLO PARK* (Remote work for Q1/Q2 2021)


Sr. Algorithm / Computer vision Scientist / researcher

Senior-level computer vision scientist having 3+ years of experience in designing computer vision, image analysis, and deep learning algorithms and a proven track record of research in computer vision and allied fields.

1. 3+ years of relevant industry experience working in computer vision, deep learning, machine learning product from algorithm ideation, algorithm design, prototyping, development, testing and deployment stages.

2. Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field focus on computer vision research and deep learning.

3. Proficiency in Programming Languages: Python (scientific computing with numpy, scipy), and working knowledge of C/C++

4. Expertise in OpenCV Computer vision library for image processing and stereo vision, Tensorflow / Keras and/or Pytorch / FastAI for Deep learning model training and deployment, Scikit-learn and Pandas for machine learning and data analysis

5. Experience with 3D machine vision, localization, stereo vision, camera calibration, embedded vision applications etc.

6. Experience in designing and training novel deep learning (DL) architectures for CV with a broad understanding of DL methods and literature

7. Experience in writing reusable, scalable, test-driven and well documented codebase

8. Exceptional writing and verbal communications skills.

9. Bonus points for
a. Academic publication in CV/AI conferences / Journal such as CVPR, ICCP, ICCV, NeurIPS etc
b. Strong mathematical skills with knowledge of statistical methods and optimization
c. Experience with medical devices and product development in a regulated industry
