About the Role We are seeking a University Recruiter who can help accelerate our efforts hiring for our software engineering new grad class that has historically doubled in headcount annually for the past 4 years. Our ideal candidate is someone who is excited to partner with our existing University Recruiting team to manage a full-lifecycle recruiting desk and help coordinate career fairs and other related events. Historically, Applied has partnered with the a16z University Recruiting team, Greylock Techfair, Neo Startup Connect, and multiple career fairs at Berkeley, Stanford, MIT, Caltech, etc.

  • Independently manage a full-lifecycle recruiting workload for various new grad software engineering roles
  • Become an expert on the autonomous vehicle industry and be our external representative for talent
  • Screen, recruit, and interview candidates
  • Learn about and help augment our unique and positive culture
  • Provide leadership with accurate data and metrics on recruiting efforts
  • Build out and program manage University Recruiting events & career fairs We're looking for someone who has:
    • 2+ years of experience with full-lifecycle technical recruiting
    • Ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice to have:
      • Agency and in-house experience
      • Experience working in the autonomous vehicles industry
      • Experience recruiting for enterprise software companies
