Role Overview: The Good Eating Company is looking for a Coffee Shop Manager who doesn’t just serve coffee—they craft experiences. Based in Mountain View California, you’ll lead our café team, inspire creativity, and bring innovative coffee ideas to life. As Coffee Shop Manager, you’ll have the freedom to innovate, lead a passionate team, and make a lasting impact in the Mountain View community. What You'll Do: Lead and inspire baristas, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and customer care. Develop unique coffee creations and seasonal menus that delight and surprise our guests. Train and mentor staff on brewing techniques, latte art, and customer service excellence. Ensure smooth daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control. Engage with the local community, building relationships and creating a welcoming café environment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and consistency. What You Bring: A strong background in specialty coffee. Creative flair for developing new drinks and elevating the coffee experience. Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to train, motivate, and grow a team. Customer-first mindset, with a passion for hospitality and building community. Operational know-how, including scheduling, inventory, and financial awareness. Knowledge of coffee trends, brewing methods, and latte art. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience Minimum Management Experience - 2 years Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
