Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Palo Alto, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $990 to $1,110 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $33.00 - $37.00/Hourly. Summary: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services that help patients regain, develop, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work activities. The COTA assists in implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, and documenting patient progress. Responsibilities: ?Implement occupational therapy treatment plans designed by a supervising OT. Assist patients in developing or restoring daily living, work, and leisure skills. Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques. Use assistive devices, splints, and adaptive equipment as directed. Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
