Services to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Petaluma,
California, 94954! Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse –
Northern California Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Northern
California Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Travel assignment with weekend coverage and occasional
call (1-2 weekdays 8pm-6am, weekend call 7am-7pm); must be
available to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas,
New Year) Highlights: Full-service PACU supporting diverse surgical
specialties including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic,
plastic, ophthalmic, podiatric, and spine procedures Epic charting
system experience required Daily census of approximately 15
patients across all age groups (pediatric through geriatric)
40-hour orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
including pharmacy, respiratory, physical therapy, and rapid
response teams Float required to pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II
recovery areas One pre-approved time off period available during
contract Requirements: Active California RN license in hand prior
to submission Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience Current
certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Epic charting system experience
required Strong clinical skills in pre/post-operative care,
arterial line management, vascular access, Phase I and Phase II
recovery, dysrhythmia recognition, and conscious sedation
Competency with blood product administration, PICC line care,
procedural sedation monitoring, and pain management protocols Two
supervisory references covering a minimum of 1 year within the last
three years in a comparable specialty/setting Willingness to float
to affiliate facilities in the region as needed Must reside outside
