A well-established, prominent cardiology group in San Francisco Bay Area seeks an outstanding Interventional cardiologist to join our independently-owned, large single-specialty cardiology group. The group consists of general, interventional and EP cardiologists. Excellent opportunity to join a long standing and respected group to grow and expand a regionally recognized program. Large external referral base and affiliation with a mid-size community state-of-the-art hospital. In this dynamic position, the cardiologist will play a key role in the further development of Intervention, and structural heart program (i.e. TAVR, Watchman, Mitraclip). Must possess strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with colleagues to maintain and expand an existing successful program. The ideal candidate will have completed a Cardiology Fellowship program in Interventional and Structural heart, with a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, have exemplary clinical and interpersonal skills. Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology required. Major responsibilities include: Interventional Cardiovascular Procedures In-Patient consultation and hospital rounds Structural heart procedures LAA closure and transcatheter aortic and mitral valve repair) In-patient and out-patient activities for general cardiology Night and weekend cardiology call STEMI call Practice expansion plan (establishment of satellite programs) Option of participating in non-invasive reading panel.
