Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist Locums Job in the San Francisco Bay Area - CaliforniaDetails/Requirements:*Need is for adult inpatient coverage starting approximately 9/26/22 and ongoing, with some on call coverage possible. *36 bed acute adult inpatient unit covered by 4-5 part-time permanent Psychiatrists plus the locum tenens Psychiatrist.*Average daily census stays mostly full at around 90% of capacity.*Average length of stay is 8-9 days.*Average daily caseload for the locum tenens Psychiatrist is 10-12 patients, including admissions and discharges.*Hours: 8A-5P, Monday through Friday.*Possible shared on-call coverage for nights and weekends, to be determined.*Medical physicals for the H&Ps for new admissions are done by Internists, not by the locum tenens Psychiatrist.*Board Certification is required unless you are less than five years out of residency.*Hospital credentialing will be expedited, most likely 4-5 weeks. *Electronic medical record system, so you must be computer savvy.*Four to six month minimum assignments, but ideally six month minimum assignments.*Chief medical director will be involved in interviews.
