Job Description and Requirements
Are you an expert in implementing, embedding, and using People
Analytics to
support data-driven decision making?
Synopsys is looking for a Head of People Analytics to play a
pivotal role in driving
the organization towards a data-driven and insight-led culture.
You will be responsible for leading our HR reporting and people
analytics team,
ensuring that people data usage is adopted across HR and the
broader organisation.
We are looking for an experience People Analytics leader who will
combine
analytical thinking, stakeholder management, business acumen,
consultative skills
and excellent leadership capabilities to deliver information and
insights that enable
Synopsys to achieve its business goals.
This individual will lead a team focused on supporting our Visier
People Analytics
platform and running advanced analytics projects to help our HR
business partners
and business leaders better understand the impact of our people,
identifying
opportunities to drive impactful change to improve business
performance.
As the Head of People Analytics, you will:
* Develop the overall vision and strategy for People Analytics at
Synopsys
* Be responsible for the design, implementation, ethical use,
delivery and
analysis of people data and reporting across the global
organisation
* Be accountable for transforming the current approach to the use
of people
data, measures and reporting
* Be responsible for representing People Analytics throughout the
organisation,
driving adoption of a data-driven culture across the HR function
and business
* Support our workforce planning team with data and insights needed
to
support strategic decision-making around hiring and anticipate
market
challenges and growth
* Lead a multi-functional team including consulting, data/reporting
solutions,
governance, visualization and advanced analytics
* Develop and maintain strong relationships, based on trust, with
HR leaders
and key business leaders to understand their analytics and data
needs and
build global solutions
* Craft compelling stories through data analysis and cutting-edge
visualizations
that empower decision-makers to turn complex data into actionable
insights
* Drive the maintenance, development, adoption and usage of Visier,
ensuring
that people data is reported and visualised in a transparent and
engaging way
throughout HR and the business
* Distil complex data insights into compelling and simple stories
for a broad
range of non-technical stakeholders
* Leverage knowledge of data infrastructure and data engineering to
partner
heavily with our HRIT team on data strategy and act as the HR owner
for our
Snowflake data lake
* Be comfortable working with leaders in partner functions e.g.
Finance, IT,
Operations, Marketing etc
* Drive a team culture that prioritizes the accuracy, timeliness
and relevancy of
our data, trends, reports, and insights
* Be responsible for people data privacy compliance and
security
To excel in this role, you should possess strong analytical skills,
structured thinking,
problem-solving abilities, and a consultative approach to working
with stakeholders.
You will be at the forefront of trends in people analytics globally
and accustomed to
using people data and evidence to improve organizational
decision-making.
Required Experience
* Senior HR leadership experience in a global organization, with
emphasis on
building HR analytics programs and strategies to support
employee
experience, talent strategy and business performance
* Extensive knowledge of databases, analytical tools, and big
data
* Strong relationship-building skills, especially within
large-scale global
organizations
* Ability to translate analysis results into data-driven insights
that resonate with
diverse audiences
* End-to-end problem-solving and communication abilities, including
diagnosis,
data cleaning, integration and transformation, analysis,
visualization, and
presentation
* Outstanding consultative, critical thinking and communication
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between
$155,000-$270,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an
annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys

compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related
factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
