Job Description Summary The Program Manager, Master Schedule Lead will partner closely with the Project Management, Pre-construction, Capital Planning & Controls, Procurement and Governance teams to develop and manage the master program schedule. In this role, the successful candidate will be collaborating with Capital Planners, Project Managers, Leadership and client Stakeholders to define tasks, establish dependencies and monitor the execution of project timelines. The candidate will prepare a clear order of operations needed to deliver the program, alert users to potential problem areas, plan for future resource allocations and manipulate the schedule to ameliorate these constraints. This person will possess the ability to examine the tradeoffs between the time and cost to carry out the program's projects while also driving the overall program supply chain. Through the proper use of scheduling techniques and eloquent presentations, the person will report out to Leadership enabling them to make informed decisions. Job Description Interface with internal departments (including, but not limited to, Project Management, Pre-Construction, Capital Planning & Controls, Engineering and Maintenance, Procurement, Finance and Governance) to drive the integration of all associated workstream schedules Partner with the Capital Planning team on development and scheduling of the annual capital plan along with providing long range schedule targets for future plan years Obtain regular projects updates from the Project Management team in order to develop tasks, quantify durations, establish dependencies and update the master program schedule Maintain the master program schedule and provide regular reporting to Leadership, the Project Management team, cross-service line partners, end users and client stakeholders Prepare and give presentations to communicate status, risks, challenges and opportunities related to the master program schedule and independent project schedules driving the critical path Collaborate with Procurement to define projects/activities that may influence the timing of production activities (specialty, long and/or uncertain lead-time items), integrate those into the network model, provide appropriate analysis if changes or delays occur and take appropriate procurement actions before they begin to delay the program Partner with the Technology Team to support the capital planning function as it pertains to the Clarizen / Procore platform and provide support for system optimization as it pertains to scheduling, resourcing, etc. Work alongside Cost Controllers to support the tracking and control of project costs as it pertains to time and resources Review master construction agreements for any/all applicable scheduling requirements to ensure compliance Generate and document all business processes associated with the creation, updating and reporting of project and program schedules Produce baseline project schedule templates for the various programs, project types and pillar teams within Project Management Develop, maintain and routinely present training materials associated with all standard operating procedures applicable to project and program scheduling REQUIREMENTS Proficiency with all scheduling concepts including, but not limited to, building a network model, precedence diagrams, resource allocation/leveling, money and network schedules, project monitoring and control, earned value, PERT, short interval schedules and linear scheduling Sound comprehension of all time in contract provisions Understanding of, and experience with, technical infrastructure and MEPSF systems Comprehension of construction industry terminology, codes, documentation, and design disciplines Strong knowledge of Google Suite Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, Clarizen, Smartsheet, Primavera, MPP, PlanGrid, etc) Proven track record of providing world class reporting (internal and external), customer service and leadership Highly organized and detail oriented with sound interpersonal skills Ability to perform duties under deadline pressure in a fast-paced, high volume environment Excellent oral and written communication skills - a master presenter Willing and able to travel within the San Francisco Bay Area as needed AAP/EEO STATEMENT C&W provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age,sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
