Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.3 years of experience with technical program management on cross-functional projects.Experience in consumer electronics, hardware/software programs, and system on a chip (SoC)/embedded chip bring up.Preferred qualifications:Experience working on embedded devices in a highly cross-functional environment while communicating with multiple groups.Experience with software and/or hardware engineering in developing display focused products, display drivers, and VESA qualification processes.Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams and delivering against a backlog.Ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.In this role, you will work directly with the GPU Software team in managing driver delivery and development, performance optimizations, and identifying requirements for future silicon that will improve the customer experience. You will also be working with cross-functional teams across Android and Hardware product areas to ensure schedules are aligned for phone and silicon programs.Making the world's information universally accessible and useful doesn't stop at the desktop. Responsibilities Lead cross-functional development and execution from prototyping, implementation, engineering, and production testing all the way through to launch Work with key stakeholders in the Pixel Software team, Product Management, and Executive teams to define execution strategy and requirements.
Drive complete development cycles of new Pixel display projects, from requirements and design through implementation, testing, validation to meet launch requirements.Establish clear, measurable success criteria including validation plans, testing strategy, and goals.Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives.
