wherever it may be.About the roleMuon seeks a Technical Program
Manager to join our team and help run cutting-edge internal R&D
and customer programs. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail
oriented, organized and is comfortable working on complex problems
in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary aerospace development effort, driving
day-to-day execution of the program
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to plan and
coordinate the resources necessary to execute the program
- Synchronize a diverse technical team by establishing tools,
practices, and process
- Participate in technical discussions, ask probing questions,
and work with the team to pull together scoping, schedules, and
solutions to issues
- Track and report program metrics on schedule, resource, cost,
risk, and technical performance
- Serve as the face of the company to customers, subcontractors
and suppliersRequirements
- B.S. in an engineering discipline, M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
- 5 years relevant experience in program management
- Track record of successfully delivering complete systems
(hardware, firmware, software, algorithms) on time, to scope, with
high quality.
- Experience in development and/or program management of
satellite based systems.
- Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to
work successfully across all engineering disciplines.
- Experience in vendor and contract managementNice-to-have Skills
- System engineering and experience with inter-discipline
technical tradestudy
- Experience working with scripting languages (e.g. Python,
Julia) and database queries (e..g SQL, BigQuery) for data
integration, analysis, and dashboarding.
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
