Overview

The Managed Services Program Leader will drive best-in-class partnership management for Global Business Services (GBS) critical outsourced service provider (OSP) that executes multiple critical global business services processes (e.g. procurement, sourcing, AP, supplier data master, help desk, 3rd party risk management, contracting) to ensure managed services performance and deliverables enable increased operational efficiencies, accelerate growth and deliver the highest value to a diverse set of global business services functional teams.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of expertise in Source-to-Report functions (procurement, sourcing, AP, supplier data master, help desk, 3rd party risk management, contracting).
  • Experience in managing outsourced service providers or partner management.
  • Experience leading and executing strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success of leading project teams to achieving quantifiable savings by applying sourcing methods.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a centralized and global matrixed organization with minimum supervision.
  • Champions best practice processes, tools, and commitment to provide quality procurement products / customer service.
  • Strong project management skills and results oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation management experience.
  • Strong management capabilities to manage and develop the Tactical Sourcing Specialists.
  • Experience with Coupa.
  • Knowledge of eProcurement and eCatalog management systems.
    Specialized Knowledge

    Experience leading solution development for cross functional requirements. Excels at relationship management. Builds lasting relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners based on merit. Trusted advisor to both.

    Skills

    Firsthand working knowledge of Source to Report is essential. Technical knowledge and expertise in specific functional areas (procurement, sourcing, AP, supplier data master, help desk, 3rd party risk management, contracting) is a plus.

    How you will lead

    Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

    Managed Services Program is an outsourced program designed to apply a standard approach to core GBS activities to ensure highly reliable and fully transparent business processes are executed with consistency and requisite speed to meet Intuit's requirements for financial integrity, scalability, and internal customer delight. The Managed Services Program leader is responsible for both the big picture and the details.

    The Managed Service Partner Management responsibilities focus on program planning and measuring execution through functional teams to ensure excellence across all service lines. This includes standard playbooks for all functions, reviews, scorecarding, SLA & KPIs, and leveraging insights to make measured adjustments to improve quality commensurate with the increasing role, responsibilities and complexities that will be effectively executed through the team.

    Specifically, the program leader will ensure OSP is enabled to perform all activities in a scalable way; from tactical reviews to daily scheduled op mechs and reporting, to escalation management, defect remediation and targeted process improvements. The program leader will also pilot new best practices transparently to prove success and effect change across all service lines.

    Key near term focus areas are operational excellence and increasing utilization of managed services across all business lines commensurate with planned volumes for annual support, in parallel with increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the same.

    Mid to long term opportunities include solving for increasing efficiencies and blending outside-in perspective with a deep understanding of unique internal business requirements to craft an agile managed services program required to support year over year growth. This includes building data-backed alternative business models to enable a range of options and benefits in managing complex and related services lines, advocating for best-in-class transformation and leading business line transitions with functional teams, if required.

    Strategy and Leadership

    • Develop strategy, roadmap and plan for increased OSP utilization and evolution of the roles and responsibilities within business lines in alignment with GBS' maturity model.
    • Collaborate with different teams to ensure alignment with program expectations and goals.
    • Evaluate success metrics for OSP and refine to ensure program success.
    • Develop the right levels of reporting, cadences and metrics that drives visibility & accountability, promotes collaboration and results in actions that help maintain and improve the program.
    • Assess current technology, process, tools, content, structure and pursue opportunities to drive efficiencies and effectiveness.
    • Ensure different end-to-end procurement activities are well-defined through establishing DACI at the right level.
    • Review and lead GBS- OSP governance (including issue escalation) and ensure it is effective and efficient.
      Managed Services Operations

      • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly SLAs are met (cycle times, productivity, process compliance, etc.).
      • Monitor and resolve issues assessing root causes for systematic gaps in processes or one-offs.
      • Recommend and implement best practice leveraging external experience and knowledge.
      • Drive communication protocols to ensure OSP and Intuit are aligned, and program is optimal with few hand-offs.
      • Develop checks to ensure compliance and drive compliance.
      • Develop process to measure 360 feedback.
      • Drive change management with OSP and stakeholders.
      • Ensure all OSP business lines are working collaboratively to resolve support issues/escalations.
        Partner Performance Management

        • Implement a QBR, scorecard and other performance management tools and processes that ensures successful outcome for program delivery of Source to Report functions.
        • Set long term goals that are in alignment with GBS vision.
        • Measure and monitor performance.
        • Pursue opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, risk mitigation, ongoing value generation.
          People Management

          • Manages key OSP stakeholders and potential for direct reports.
