The Regional Biomedical Operations Manager is responsible for
the region's operation, condition, maintenance and repair of all
water treatment and medical equipment. About Us Satellite

direction, leadership, training, education, and assistance for the
fiscal management of supplies and plant equipment to direct
reports. The Regional Biomedical Operations Manager partners with
the Corporate Director of Biomedical Operations in capital
purchases, the building of new facilities, renovations and/or
expansions needed for specific centers.This position provides

reports. The Regional Biomedical Operations Manager partners with
the Corporate Director of Biomedical Operations in capital
purchases, the building of new facilities, renovations and/or
expansions needed for specific centers. Essential Functions:
- Oversees region's biomedical operations including in-center,
home therapies (WellBound) and hospital services (Acute
programs)
- Ensures all decisions, actions and activities of the Biomedical
Department are conducted in accordance with manufacturers'
instructions and recommendations, follow company regulatory
compliance procedures, and all local, state, federal regulatory
requirements
- Serves as subject matter expert in the biomedical area;
provides consultation and advice to administrators, directors, and
managers
- Plans budgets for the repair, maintenance and purchasing of all
equipment in the region; is accountable for keeping within
budget
- Responsible for the monthly review of the centers QAPI reports
for regulatory compliance to identify opportunities for
improvement; ensures the Quality Program and process is
followed
- Institutes a quality focus amongst staff by providing training
and education on quality improvement; encourage regular
communication between the biomedical and clinical staff on quality

Experience:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D or equivalent required
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering or a
combination of higher education and equivalent experience
preferred
- Three (3) years management experience in dialysis or healthcare
and three (3) years of biomedical/mechanical experience
required
- Current CHBT, CBNT or CBET national certification (or within 36
months of hire) Any combination of education and experience that
would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is
qualifying Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must have a complete working knowledge of the mechanical area
as well as operational knowledge of the biomedical mechanics of
dialysis and center maintenance to ensure the appropriate action is
taken where necessary
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills, including
problem solving in a dialysis and/or healthcare environment
- Must be able to independently travel to assigned locations as
needed
- Able to work flexible hours according to the needs of the
