Description Do you have a solid background in data management
and enjoy working with multiple applications and systems? How about
working and collaborating with a small but dynamic group of SIA
personnel, third party resources and clients to retrieve, provide,
organize, manage and audit CRM Company and Contact Sales &
Marketing related data for a variety of global products and
services to include conferences, webinars, surveys, training,
editorial and membership. SIA is seeking a talented, passionate and
motivated Database Manager with Netsuite experience who is results
oriented, and data driven. This candidate should be willing to work
with the SIA team as well as third party resources to ensure data
quality across systems, with the primary focus of maintaining,
updating and enhancing the Netsuite database and CRM application.
Responsibilities Direct responsibility for performing and managing
subscription and registration data extracts/loads to and from
multiple sources including Cvent, Campaign Monitor, Website, Survey
Monkey and Netsuite Provide leadership in maintaining data across
all technology platforms working with internal as well as third
party resources to ensure quality results Collaborate with Member
Services on new member additions and updates to company and contact
data including imports and exports as well as matching and
validation using both manual and automated methods Manage and
perform the systems and data maintenance necessary in maintaining
the quality of the data across all systems Ensure excellent
customer service through verbal and written communications
delivering quality solutions in a timely manner As part of the data
team, work with new integration tools and processes to assist with
managing data integration between Netsuite and SIA's new website
Collaborate with the various internal departments on business and
technology needs utilizing process improvement, application
knowledge and data management skills As a member of the Technology
Operations team, assist with development and maintenance of the
Netsuite CRM application and reporting Utilize business analysis
skills to gather and document requirements to deliver technology
solutions working with a variety of internal and external resources
Provide leadership, motivation, direction and training to Tech Ops
personnel responsible for manual data entry and maintenance Basic
Qualifications Netsuite Administration with practical data and
application management experience Strong Excel skills (i.e.
VLOOKUP, pivot tables), to include functions and features to manage
and manipulate data Experience with providing business
requirements, data management and training documentation Database,
data analysis and reporting knowledge & experience Understanding of
data structure, mapping, translation and synchronization Prior
personnel management, third party or direct Results oriented, solid
work ethic with excellent attention to detail Strong verbal and
written communication skills Creative self-starter, highly
accountable and communicative Preferences Some training, and
experience with Netsuite Data administration including data
formatting, loads, exports, workflows, email deliverability and
reporting using Netsuite Business analysis skills to understand and
interpret business needs into practical solutions, preferably with
some background and knowledge of sales and marketing, membership
and subscription functions and data Understanding of how to match
data elements across systems, audit and cleanse data Prefer
Netsuite administration experience with Workflow, Scripting,
configuration of custom data fields as well as reporting skills
Other database product experience with Access, SQL or other
products is preferred Prefer experience with Sales & CRM functions
as well as Marketing campaigns and trends analysis Project
Management knowledge and experience Creative approach to finding
solutions that will improve processes and systems This position is
exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for
