About you
To support our growth were looking for a Catering Sales Manager to join our awesome team!
In this position you will be responsible for maintaining the existing client base and soliciting for new, internal business for events specific to our client.
You will leverage the brand reputation and venue strengths to develop food and beverage revenue for internal, prospective clients. The position will operate in accordance with strategic objectives and selective selling guidelines to meet and exceed internal group revenue components. You must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be a team player, and be able to creatively think and work within the full spectrum of all that is involved with being a successful member of our catering department.
This role will be based in Mountain View, California.
The great things youll do

• Manage all client communications for respective client/events
• Prepare banquet event orders, proposals and event floor plans
• Design custom menus and event decor, in conjunction with our Culinary team and Creative Brand Director
• Collaborate with our Marketing team to support Catering communications programs
• Work with the Operations Manager to ensure proper execution of events
• Consistently deliver high standards of care to existing customers and to promote business
• Ensure all paperwork is being produced in a professional and timely manner
• Manage sales activities with existing clients to grow their business as well as prospecting for new, internal revenue streams
• Prepare P&L analysis of all large events
  What we look for in the perfect candidate
  • A passion for personalizing each event
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Catering sales role
  • Software knowledge in Catertrax and the Google Suite is a plus
  • A deal-maker who is adept at consultative selling at the executive level
  • A track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and targets over time
  • Possesses accuracy, organization and foresight in their approach to the clients
  • Takes initiative - problem solver
  • Team player with stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Hospitality role model
