Job Description:

Aeva is building the next generation of sensing and perception for autonomous vehicles and beyond. With its unique ability to measure instantaneous velocity for each pixel, long-range performance at high resolutions, while being free from LiDAR or sunlight interference, Aeva's 4D LiDAR is built from the ground up at silicon photonics scale for mass-market applications. Role Overview: We are looking for a Facilities Manager that will oversee the growth and maintenance of Aeva's office locations. This is a hands-on position responsible for ensuring a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for employees, customers, partners, and any other individuals who enter the premises. Responsible for continuous maintenance of facilities. What you'll be doing:

  • Manage day to day facility operations of all Aeva locations
  • Project manage office expansion and construction as needed including space modifications, equipment transfers, furniture, and other transition expenses.
  • Provide space planning analysis for forecasting
  • Coordinate with management regarding workstation changes and new hire placements
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and invoicing
  • Ensure common areas, conference rooms, and lab rooms maintain a level of security and cleanliness at all times
  • Oversee facilities related safety elements such as emergency preparedness, safety training, and regulatory requirements
  • Primary contact for all building issues and quickly respond to resolve barriers
  • Provide industry best practices for office improvements to support the business objectives
  • May assist in other projects as requested by management What you have:
    • 10+ years of facilities management experience, preferably in large office locations
    • Service-oriented, self-motivated, and possesses a positive attitude
    • Knowledgeable of health and safety regulations
    • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
    • Exceptional time management and organizational skills Nice to have:
      • Lease negotiations
      • Experience in prior office relocations
