OVERVIEW Senior Global Partner Marketing Manager BlackBerry is seeking an experienced, creative and passionate channel professional to own our global "To Partner" marketing and communications program for BlackBerry's diverse partner ecosystem. This highly impactful role's mission is to efficiently engage our partners at scale, at the right time, and with the right message throughout the Partner Lifecycle (recruit, onboard, enable, activate and retain) to increase awareness, influence perception, and grow BlackBerry's channel business. As the Senior Global Partner Marketing Manager - To Partner you'll be a part of BlackBerry's global partner go-to-market team and collaborate closely with Channel Sales Leadership, Partner Program Management, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, and Corporate Marketing to define the "To Partner" marketing and communications plan as well as orchestrate, localize, and execute it for BlackBerry's global partner ecosystem which is in varying stages of maturity across the globe. As the "To Partner" marketing and communications lead, you will develop a scalable framework to ensure both consistency in our global messaging and calls-to-action as well as the ability to tailor communications based upon region, partner type, and functional persona through appropriate channels including digital, earned and owned media, media and analyst relations, BlackBerry field teams, and more. This role requires hands-on content development and polished writing skills. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to create plans that map to business priorities, develop messaging and content, analyze and assess marketing effectiveness as well as business results, modify them based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders. Your success will be dependent on superior communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. What you will be doing: * Establish overall partner marketing and communication strategy, plan, calendar, and metrics that support the achievement of the business strategy and priorities. * Develop and maintain personas for partner types and functional roles that direct and ensure consistency in segmented communication for all BlackBerry touchpoints. * Evaluate industry, organization, as well as functional partner perceptions to develop and execute plants to shape them. * Serve as the partner advocate in ensuring representation and defining "To Partner" marketing and communications approach for various channel and corporate programs, corporate marketing, new product launches, and events. * Develop communication plans and approaches to educate, enable, and mobilize internal BlackBerry field teams for partner initiatives where appropriate. * Lead partner PR/AR and social media strategy, presence, calendar, and content syndication process across BlackBerry-owned digital properties in collaboration with BlackBerry cross-functional marketing teams. * Lead "To Partner" communication and marketing programs as an individual contributor while developing influence with BlackBerry's expansive global cross-functional and corporate resources to execute. We're looking for someone who is/ has: * Channel Ecosystem Experience: In-depth knowledge of partner ecosystems to effectively develop strong partner messaging focused on "What's in it for the Partner" business value. * Partner Experience Minded: Identifies with and understands how a partner thinks and looks to highlight the "why" to the partner audience. Captures the BlackBerry story and drives a stronger value proposition with the partners. * Storyteller and Strong Communicator: Comfortable writing thought leadership pieces, blogs, web and social media content, scripting videos, and developing case studies. Skilled at translating technical and business concepts into clear, concise messaging assets. * Growth Mindset and Curious: Is passionate about the cybersecurity industry and the challenges our customers are trying to solve with our technology. Gathers and analyzes information or data on current and future trends or best practices. Asks questions to understand the "why" behind the message. * Self Starter: Is not intimidated but excited by a blank slate and the impact they can have. Possesses vision, problem solving, and leadership skills to define a plan and mobilize cross-functional teams to realize those plans. What you bring to the team: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, business, or related field. * 8+ years experience in diverse strategic marketing and communications roles preferably in the tech industry with companies that sells through or with partners. * Strong writing, editing, proofreading skill set with the ability to present concepts verbally, written, video and via digital mediums. * Experience developing as well as executing marketing and communication plans across multiple global markets and cultures. * Understanding of marketing and communication KPI-setting and measurement. * Excellent executive communication skills. * Social media knowledge preferred. * Ability to ruthlessly prioritize and manage their time. * High energy and passion with a "can do" attitude. * Executes with urgency. * Power-user of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must. #LI-ST1 Job Family Group Name: Marketing & Communications Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
