Information Security is a top business imperative at Pure Storage. In addition to driving security in our Corporate environment and Pure Storage services, the Security team is deeply entrenched in the Pure Storage business. As such, we contribute to product roadmaps, branding, research and other strategic aspects of our products and service. We work across multiple functions, business partners and the research community. We are an engineering-focused team that seeks to stay on the cutting edge of security technology and the threat landscape. We seek a knowledgeable and execution-focused leader to take the security of our products and infrastructure to the next level. Responsibilities:
    • Lead the product security team - including; product security architecture, security testing, secure design review, and security engineering, and reporting
    • Set the vision, roadmap and lead efforts to verify the security of our code, products, and infrastructure--
    • Maintain a collaborative working relationship with business unit leaders and engineering teams and work to champion security priorities and objectives across Pure Storage
    • Help define Pure Storage's security properties and influence product roadmaps
    • Lead the development and drive adoption of proactive secure development practices--
    • Drive collaboration with external entities, including vendors and security researchers
    • Evangelize the Pure Storage security practices and establish strong partnerships with our customers and the security community
    • Use a data-driven approach to identifying and demonstrating improvements -- WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE......-- --
      • 12+ years of experience with information security functions with at least 5 years leading application security and offensive security teams.
      • Software development security background. Proven experience scaling code and cloud infrastructure security.
      • Experience leading the development of security solutions at cloud scale in AWS, and Azure.
      • Successful track record growing application security programs including hiring, coaching and grooming future leaders.
      • Proven experience maturing an application security program including identifying, hiring and growing talent.
