Technical Program Manager, Field Product Quality
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent practical
- 5 years of experience in a Product Quality or Sustaining
- 3 years of experience in a Technical Program Management
- Experience with Product Quality fundamentals including 8D
problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive
action. Preferred qualifications:
- MS or PhD degree in Engineering or equivalent practical
- Experience in debug, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
- Experience with consumer electronics products.
- Experience with advanced data analytics (e.g. statistics,
statistical modeling, queries, dashboarding, predictive analytics).

Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects
through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing
project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating
goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices,
time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the
players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines. You
will work with a team of experts from diverse fields (e.g.
Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Design, etc.),
advocating for Product Quality and Engineering activities ranging
from product development through post-launch field issue
resolution. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting
all the quality aspects of the product launch and sustaining
lifecycle. You will ensure that your team operates to the highest
quality standards, and that all corporate business requirements,
regulations and other standards are met. You will also apply
intensive, self-directed, and diversified knowledge of engineering,
quality, and program management principles to Google's hardware
devices, services, and systems. You work closely with new product
introduction Product Quality Technical Program Managers and a broad
cross-functional team to mitigate field risks and product
detractors pre and post launch. You collaborate with Electrical
Engineers, Design Engineers, Module Engineers, Software Engineers,
and Product Managers to dive deep into technical problem solving,
root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action. Your
work ensures the various pieces of device and service
infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our products humming
along smoothly for a seamless user experience. Google's mission is

product quality metrics and goals, and develop monitoring and

into mitigation and improvement feedback to stakeholders. Develop
methods to improve customer satisfaction and product quality.
