market research, crafting positioning and messaging, and developing
- Strong empathy and a history of distilling market and user
behavior down to the core essence.

straightforward scenarios. About the job Whether you're on a
consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a
business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform,
Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you
lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining
positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization
and external communications, you help shape the voice of the
product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with
a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications,
legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In
this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from
beginning to end. From determining positioning, naming, market
evaluation, feature prioritization and external communications, you
help shape the voice of the product and help it grow as a
marketplace across Search and Maps. This means you work with a
cross-functional team across product development, engineering,
research, PR, agencies, partners, and more. In this role, you'll be
involved with core product marketing strategy from beginning to
end.You can think across business and consumer opportunities. You
are both a doer and a thinker, strategizing at the high level and
executing with exceptional quality on multiple projects
simultaneously. You're a skilled communicator who can build
relationships and influence people at any level and in any job

- Partner with product managers and cross-functional team members
to shape product roadmap, product positioning and narrative, and
go-to-market plans across Geo Marketplaces focus areas of
consumer-to-merchant messaging, actions on Google, and
revenue-driving product pilots.
- Be the voice of the user, using primary and secondary research
as well as internal data to identify merchant and consumer needs,
and translate product features into tangible merchant and consumer
- Work with Business Development, Product, Design and Engineering
to build out and launch new product offerings.
- Liaison with other Google Marketing teams, such as Ads
Marketing, to coordinate product marketing for offerings who serve
